Madrid · RYB Format
Run first. Pitch after.
Pitch/Run is the RYB format where a run through Madrid turns into a pitch night. Founders, builders and investors move together first — and talk business once the heart rate is up.
One loop of Madrid. One room of builders.
Pitch nights are broken: stale rooms, stiff decks, forced networking. So we moved the whole thing outside. You run together, you pitch while the blood is pumping, and by the time you sit down, the room is already warm. Sport is the icebreaker. Business is the point.
The Run
Move first.
A social-pace loop through Madrid. No egos, no racing — the run is the icebreaker. The best conversations happen at kilometre three.
The Pitch
Ideas at pace.
Short, sharp pitches between segments and back at the venue. No stages, no panels — founders say what they are building while everyone is still warm.
The Room
Where it lands.
Drinks, questions and follow-ups. Builders meet founders, investors meet deal-flow, and the next project starts before the night ends.
From warm-up to final pitch.
One evening, four movements. Everything is designed so the pitch is sharper after the run than it ever is in a meeting room.
- 01
Warm-up run
Everyone runs.
We meet, drop the bags and run a social-pace loop together. This is where strangers stop being strangers.
- Social pace — nobody gets dropped
- Bags and coffee at the venue from the start
- Introductions happen on the move, not at a door
- 02
Pitches between kilometres
Talk while you move.
Founders pitch in motion: two minutes, no slides, just the idea and the ask. The group listens at pace.
- Two minutes per pitch, no exceptions
- One clear ask: a hire, an intro, feedback
- Questions saved for the venue — not mid-stride
- 03
Working session
Back at the table.
Shoes off, laptops open. The room splits around the ideas that landed: founders go deeper, builders offer hands.
- Small groups around each live idea
- Builders, operators and investors in the mix
- Real feedback, not polite applause
- 04
Final pitches + networking
Close the loop.
Final version of the pitches in front of the room, then the night opens: drinks, introductions and next steps.
- The sharpened pitch, one last time
- Curated introductions to the people you need
- Follow-ups shared after the event
Four ways in.
Pitch/Run works because every role in the room wants something the others have. Pick yours.
Founders
You have something live or nearly live. Pitch it, pressure-test it and leave with real next steps.
Builders
Engineers, designers, operators. Join a project you believe in — or find the co-founder you were missing.
Investors
Deal-flow without the pitch deck theatre. See how founders think and move before you see their metrics.
Sponsors
Put your brand inside the format, not on a banner. Native presence with a room of high-intent builders.
See partnershipsSimple rules. Enforced.
- 01Everyone runs. No spectators.
- 02Two minutes per pitch. No decks.
- 03One clear ask per founder.
- 04What is said on the run stays useful, not confidential.
- 05Show up to build, not to sell.
